« Résonner, au risque de l’improvisation » est une proposition de dialogue improvisé entre philosophie et musique, conçu et réalisé en direct. La philosophie sera tout autre chose que la raison de la musique et la musique n’aura pas vocation à illustrer le discours de la philosophie. Il s’agira plutôt d’une mise en résonance qui cherche autant l’harmonie que la perturbation, la synchronie que le déphasage, l’enchaînement que la syncope.

 

L’approche est volontairement ouverte, selon une forme qui se produit à mesure que le dialogue se construit, sans autre finalité que l’émergence du sens au passage du son et de la musique à l’articulation du discours. Avec la complicité des machines et des instruments, des auteurs et des concepts, un certain esprit de jeu, de critique, de risque servira de guide à cette première expérience du duo formé par Ludovic Duhem (philosophe) et Bruno Abt (compositeur). Selon cet esprit, la question d’une « écologie du web » sera abordée comme une exigence de résonance, de prise de risque et d’improvisation, c’est-à-dire comme ce qui requiert participation des individus et réticulation des mondes (naturel, technique et humain) pour être un foyer (oikos) et non un piège des vivants humains que nous sommes.

"Resonating, at the Risk of Improvisation" is a proposal for an improvised dialogue between philosophy and music, conceived and performed live. Philosophy will be something quite different from the reason for music, and the music will not be intended to illustrate the philosophical discourse. Rather, it will be a resonance that seeks both harmony and disruption, synchronicity and phasing, continuity and syncopation.

The approach is intentionally open, following a form that emerges as the dialogue unfolds, with no other aim than the emergence of meaning through the interplay of sound and music in the articulation of discourse. With the complicity of machines and instruments, authors and concepts, a certain spirit of play, critique, and risk will guide this first experience of the duo formed by Ludovic Duhem (philosopher) and Bruno Abt (composer). In this spirit, the question of a "web ecology" will be approached as a requirement for resonance, risk-taking, and improvisation—that is to say, as something that requires the participation of individuals and the interconnectedness of worlds (natural, technological, and human) in order to be a home (oikos) and not a trap for the living human beings that we are.
