Aîtres de peau est une exposition où sculpture et architecture se rencontrent pour exprimer à la fois l’enveloppement et l’ouverture du lieu. L’architecture de l’église Saint-Merry est comme une peau de pierre et une demeure de lumière, elle est un « aître », un espace d’accueil et de recueil.​

Noli me tangere (2011) et Le manteau (2013), les deux sculptures de l’exposition, sont aussi des « aîtres » : la première recueille le geste qui a déposé la couleur par lentes couches, de la crête de la paume et du bout des doigts, et accueille l’espace qui révèle une croix dans le mouvement du regard ; la seconde accueille les corps au sein de la couleur, les enveloppe, et recueille la lumière venue du zénith de la chapelle du Saint Sacrement.

À la limite entre tangible et intangible, Aîtres de peau propose une expérience des demeures du toucher.

[EN] Aîtres de peau (Skin Hearths) is an exhibition where sculpture and architecture meet to express both the enveloping and open nature of the space. The architecture of the Saint-Merry church is like a skin of stone and a dwelling of light; it is a "aître," a space for welcoming and contemplation.

Noli me tangere (2011) and Le manteau (The Mantle, 2013), the two sculptures in the exhibition, are also "aîtres": the first captures the gesture that deposited color in slow layers, from the palm and fingertips, and welcomes the space that reveals a cross in the movement of the gaze; the second welcomes bodies within the color, envelops them, and gathers the light from the zenith of the Chapel of the Blessed Sacrament.

At the boundary between the tangible and the intangible, Aîtres de peau offers an experience of the dwellings of touch.
